As a fundraiser and senior staffer responsible for systems and people—to this day—I’ve worked with institutions like The Juilliard School, Rice University, Asia Society, and others to help raise more than $30 million, shape programs, and grow the people who do the work without losing their souls.

Concerned with the health of the social sector, I focus on the reality that organizations are only as sustainable as the people inside them. I published The Nonprofiteer’s Fundraising Field Guide, and my writing, podcast, keynotes, and Social Impact Staff Retention research project are small, candid ways I work to improve lives of nonprofiteers everywhere.
